This 100-year-old French country residence was meticulously restored and expanded with a builder’s commitment to authenticity and craftsmanship. Historic Wisconsin cream brick, sourced from 19th-century stock along Lake Michigan, was carefully integrated throughout, complemented by the full reconstruction of the home’s original chimneys. A thoughtful addition introduced a new kitchen, butler’s pantry, powder room, and two-car garage, seamlessly blending modern function with the home’s architectural heritage. The result is a timeless, luxury residence that honors its past while living effortlessly for today, winning the 2023 Village of Winnetka Landmark Preservation.
