IDI Mission

It all started , in Lincoln Park, Chicago renovating bathrooms and working on small projects with his brother. Four years of architectural drawing classes in high school lead to his interest in construction. Years later, Anthony graduated from Purdue University with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Early career paths included project management, consulting, followed by insurance underwriting for architects and engineers. Leaving the corporate world Anthony started his residential building career. In the early days of construction, Anthony & his crew took on the finish carpentry trades for each home.

Anthony understands planning, preparation & communication are requirements for a successful project. With either you architect, engineer, or designer we have the ability to communicate effectively. His team of specialty trades share his vision & values. Together they work through a proven home building process for an all-around professional experience. We understand home construction and renovation can be stressful. Our process is designed with the client in mind to minimize the potential for confusion and misunderstandings. We want you to be comfortable with your partner.

Our building philosophy is to employ the best construction practices. Attention to construction details behind the walls is as important as the finish details. We adhere to architect/engineering details and specifications. Any recommendations or deviations for your project are consulted with the design professional. We continue to use the same specialty trade contractors for our team, not just contractors who are available.
